Hi, I’m Eisha!
I’m a lifelong animal lover with a background in Applied Animal Science (BSc) and Evolutionary & Behavioural Ecology (MSc). With these qualifications, I’m able to offer a personalised, professional pet care service that’s tailored to meet the unique needs of each pet. Whether it's health checks, keeping your pet entertained, or ensuring they feel comfortable while you're away, I’m here to make sure they receive the best care possible.
In addition to my degrees, I’m also trained in Emergency Animal First Aid, so you can have peace of mind knowing I’m prepared for any situation that may arise. I’m an organised individual and make sure to keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos of your pet during your time away, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands.
Before starting my pet-sitting business, I worked in wild animal rehabilitation with conservation charities both in the UK and overseas. I also have experience as a pet care advisor at a nationwide pet store, which has given me a broad range of experience working with many different species of pets.
At home, I have a 11-year-old black cat, Malakai, who is very much the centre of my world. He’s a friendly and sociable cat, and his playful, affectionate nature has taught me a lot about what makes animals feel secure and loved in a new environment.
I know how important it is to leave your pet in good hands, and I always ensure they get the same level of care and attention that I give to my own animals. Whether you’re going away for a short trip or an extended holiday, you can trust that your pet will be happy, safe, and well looked after with me.

After hearing too many stories of pet sits gone wrong, I was shocked and deeply concerned. Friends and acquaintances shared their experiences of pets being neglected—not only by casually arranged pet sitters like neighbours or friends, but even by sitters found through popular house and pet-sitting websites and apps. In several heartbreaking cases, multi-cat households suffered due to sitters not cleaning litter trays or providing fresh water, leading to ruined carpets and dehydrated cats. Hearing about the distress pets faced after these poorly managed sits was devastating.
Having worked extensively in animal care and research, and also having experience as a casual pet sitter both independently and through online platforms, I decided to take a closer look at the issue. What I discovered was troubling: despite many websites offering third-party insurance, most pet sitters had little to no formal animal care qualifications or training. While many are indeed animal lovers and responsible pet owners, there’s no formal screening or competence checks on many of these platforms. Even more concerning, there is no legal requirement for pet sitters (excluding kennels, catteries, and dog walkers) to be insured or have emergency action plans in place.
That’s when I imagined something better—a service that would provide high-quality, bespoke pet sitting by sitters who are not only passionate animal lovers but also have the professional experience and training to ensure your pet’s safety and happiness. In late 2023, I launched Feathers to Fur, a service that puts your pet’s well-being first.
Currently, it’s just me (Eisha), but I have plans to expand and create a network of professional sitters across the UK who share the same dedication and values. Follow us on social media to stay updated on our journey!
